Of Boston, NY, passed away unexpectedly on April 20, 2023.Beloved husband of 53 years to Elizabeth (nee Diemert) Tisdale; loving father of Douglas (Amy Duffy) and Jeffrey (Holly) Tisdale; step-grandfather of James (Melissa) and Nicholas (Julie) Duffy; dear brother of Michael, Claude, John and Paul Tisdale. Vern was a 1965 graduate of Lake Shore High School and retired from Bethlehem Steel in Buffalo, NY where he was a welder. Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home , 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg, NY on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 11 -1 PM. A Memorial Mass will follow at St. John the Baptist RC Church, 6895 Boston Cross Rd., Boston, NY at 1:30 PM. Flowers gratefully declined.
