Ken was a wonderful and friendly neighbor. His daily walks, thru our neighborhood in the "90's, was how we met him. Our Scottish Terriers loved him, and we would stop by Ken and Joan's house to sit on the porch and visit. We missed seeing both Joan and Ken after we moved from our Mount Vernon home in 2021.
Joan Guarino and I have fond memories now. Our hearts go out to Joan.

To the Wickett family: I send my prayers and condolences. I remember Ken from his volunteer activities at St. Mary of the Lake Parish and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was quiet man, but always kind. He set a wonderful example. I am so sorry to hear that he has passed. His memory will live on through his family and all of his good works. May he now rest in God's loving arms. Rosemary Paar

uncle ken was a wonderful guy. he was on the quiet side, but then would come out with a few chosen words that made everyone laugh. i’m so lucky to have grown up 3 doors down from him, my dear aunt joan & my three beloved cousins. i have such fond memories of all of our huge family parties… especially one where we took a picture of uncle ken wearing a shower cap & 2 dixie cups over his ears! say hi to all your family up there, uncle kenny,& enjoy a beer with them! we will miss you, but will celebrate your life forever. love, maureen
