Patricia A. Steinmetz, 66, of Hamburg, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 29, 2025

at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved and devoted wife for 43 years of Ronald J.

Steinmetz Sr.; cherished mother of Stefanie (Nate) Torres and Ronald J. (Megan) Steinmetz Jr.; dear

grandmother of Eden; loving daughter of the late Martin and Grace Szal; dear sister of Karen (Paul)

Pruchnicki, Linda (Barry) Szal-Sutton, Michelle (Gary) Brady, and Lisa (Brian) Slack; also survived by many

nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Patty graduated from Eden High School in 1977.

She worked for Eden Elementary School as a secretary retiring after many years of service. Her

memberships included the Eden Garden Club, Friends of Night People and she was a respite volunteer in

Eden, NY. Patty was a kind, warm-hearted person who loved the outdoors, spending countless hours in

her beloved gardens. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and especially spending time with her family and

friends. She will be dearly missed by all. Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21

Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be

celebrated on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 66 E. Main St. Hamburg, NY at 10:30

AM. Please assemble at the church. Interment will follow in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. Please share
