October 19, 1980 – March 25, 2025

Amy L. Taylor , 44, of Hamburg, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at her home.

She was born on October 19, 1980 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of Craig and Kathleen (nee English) Taylor.

Amy is survived by her loving mother, Kathleen Taylor; dear sister of Byron (Nicole) Taylor, Tonya (Terry) Flickinger and Katie (Richard) Breen; also survived by aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved cat “Charlie”.

She was predeceased by her father, Craig Taylor.

Amy was a 1999 graduate of Eden High School she continued her education at R.I.T. earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Psychology as well as a Master’s from the University at Buffalo in Social Work.

She was a diehard Buffalo Bills fan and a member of the Bills Mafia. She also enjoyed playing softball and rugby in her earlier years. Amy had a love for cats and was a devoted cat mom. She cherished her role, finding great comfort and joy in the company of her feline companions. She was predeceased by her loved cats, Maya, Mama and Misty

Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 10 AM- 12:30 PM, where a memorial service will follow at 12:30 PM. Interment will be in the SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in Amy’s memory be made to the Ten Lives Club, 3741 Lake Shore Rd. Blasdell, NY.
