August 17, 1943 – March 30, 2025

Of Orchard Park, NY, at the age of 81 beloved husband of the late Donna Mae Witman; father of Kevin (Amy), Scott (Anna) and Greg Witman; also survived by 10 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Hilda (nee Miller) Witman and a brother Gary Witman. Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life to be held at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY on Wednesday, April 9^th from 4-7 PM. Burial at Hillcrest Cemetery will be private. Paul was a 2011 Hamburg High School Sports Wall of Fame inductee for his accomplishments as both an athlete and a coach. He was a three sport athlete in cross country, wrestling and track and field. He held multiple records and was the first ever recipient of the Art Howe Award for the most valuable athlete. As a coach, he coached 82 seasons in soccer, wrestling and track& field. His teams and individual athletes won multiple championships. Memorials in Mr Witman’s name may be made to Cradle Beach Camp, 8038 Old Lakeshore Rd. Angola, NY 14006.
