October 2, 1942- July 26, 2025

Janet R. Reger, 82, of Hamburg, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY.

Janet was born on October 2, 1942 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of the late Joseph and Nora Klink.

She graduated from South Park High School “Class of 1960” and worked as a dental hygienist and nurses  assistant at Westfield Memorial Hospital. She also worked for Hamot Hospital in the Hospice& Palliative Care in Erie, Pa.

In her free time she enjoyed skiing, playing tennis and loved to travel.

Janet was a member of St Peter& Paul RC Church in Hamburg, NY and a former member of the Southtowns  Camera Club where she excelled at photography and won a number of awards for her pictures.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Elizabeth “Liz” Reger of West Seneca, NY, Helene (David) Abate of Orchard Park and a son John Reger of Buffalo, NY; sisters, Mary Toute of Pawtucket, RI and Eleanore (William) Eagan of Lackawanna, NY; also three cherished grandchildren, Nicole and Jessica Abate and Matthew Reger.

Janet is predeceased by two sisters, Ann Degal and Dolores McCaughla, also a brother, Joseph Klink.

 As per her wishes there will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Veit Rd. Hamburg, NY at 10 AM with Fr Ted Jost of SS Peter & Paul Church officiating.
