Eleanor R. Balling, 94, of Hamburg, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025. Beloved and cherished aunt of many nieces & nephews and great-nieces & great-nephews; dear sister-in-law of John McNichol; She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Elizabeth Balling and six siblings, Elizabeth McGrath, Catherine (late William) Yoerk, Virginia (late Jack) Hynes, Janet McNichol, John Balling and JoAnne Brug. Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY on Thursday, from 4-6 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will Celebrated on Friday at SS Peter & Paul Church, 66 E. Main St. Hamburg, NY at 10 AM followed by a burial in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. Eleanor worked as a medical clerk for the Buffalo Medical Group retiring in 1996.She was well known for her great sense of humor. She enjoyed gardening, baking and knitting.
