James Mitchell “Mitch”Ryan, 68, of Hamburg, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept 6, 2025. Beloved son of Linda (nee Moser) Ryan; dear brother of Randy (Valerie), Darryl (Patricia), Russell (Margaret) and Terry (Tina) Ryan; cherished  uncle of Lindsay (Brad) Menza, Marla (Tom) Schultz, Kelsey (Brendon) McCarthy, Sean (Rachel) and Nick (Cassie) Ryan. He was predeceased by his father, James A. Ryan. James graduated from Hamburg High School” Class of 1975” where he participated in track and ran cross country. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy. In his civilian life he worked as a meteorologist at Niagara Falls Air force Base, he enjoyed tracking the weather on a daily basis. James also was an avid Buffalo Bison, Sabres and Bills fan.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Donald m. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY.
