Jason Henry Franklin, age 55, of Stanfield, North Carolina, passed away on October 4, 2025. He was born on June 2, 1970, in Buffalo, NY, to JoAnn Schutts and the late Richard D. Franklin.

Jason graduated from Hamburg High School in 1989 and went on to build a long and successful career as a mechanic with Schindler Elevator, where he dedicated 26 years of service. Known for his skill and strong work ethic, Jason took great pride in his craft and the friendships he built along the way.

An avid hunter and outdoorsman, Jason found peace and joy in nature. He loved spending time in the woods and cherished the simple moments that came with being outdoors.

Jason is survived by his mother, JoAnn (Brock)Schutts, and stepfather, Terrence Schutts; his brother, Richard Scott Franklin; sister, Amy (Schutts)Walker; and step-siblings, Wayne Schutts, Wendy (Schutts)Sebold, and Kimberly Schutts. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard D. Franklin.

Jason will be remembered for his warmth, sense of humor, and love for familv and the outdoors. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov 8^th at SS Peter & Paul Church, 66 E. Main St. Hamburg, NY at noon. Burial will follow mass at Prospect Lawn Cemetery.
