Lorraine Marie Arbuckle

Lorraine Marie Arbuckle, age 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025. She was born in Buffalo, NY on May 24, 1931 the daughter of the late Harry W. and Nettie Joscelyne. She is survived by her loving children Jeffrey Arbuckle,James Arbuckle and Kathleen (Daniel) O’Reilly and her cherished grandchildren Mollie (Peter) Gaglio, Joey (Heather Kase) and Danny O’Reilly and her beautiful great-granddaughter, Nina Lorraine Gaglio. She is also survived by her dear sister Marjorie Phillips of Tulsa, OK. Sadly, her four older sisters and her older brother all preceded her in passing.

Lorraine married her love Gordon J. Arbuckle on August 29, 1953 and it was a marriage that lasted until Gordon’s passing in 2008.

Lorraine was the sweetest, strongest, most loving and most-loved mother and grandmother and great-grandmother to all her family and she was always kind and had a smile for everyone. Caring for her flower gardens and feeding the humming birds always brought her joy. She will be missed tons.

A special thank you to her long time caregiver angel,  Amber Maine, for her loving care for many years.

Her late husband Gordon is a past commander of Hamburg American Legion Post 527, where Lorraine was a longtime devoted member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Services will be private and interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Hamburg, NY.

Memorials may be made in honor of Lorraine to the Alzheimer’s Association, WNY Chapter or alz.org.
