Age 78 of Orchard Park, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025.Beloved husband for 45 years to the late Patricia (nee Matheson) Jans; devoted father of Michael (Rachel Blachowicz) and Bryan (Kelly) Jans; cherished grandfather of Tyler and Ethan Jans; dear brother of Herman Jans. Norman graduated from Eden High School, “Class of 1965”. He worked for Erie County Water Authority in Cheektowaga as a supervisor retiring with more than 25 years of service. Norman enjoyed playing golf traveling with his family and loved his canine companion “Rusty”. Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at St Bernadette Church, 5930 Abbott Rd. Orchard Park at 9 AM. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Norman’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
