May 15, 1935 – Jan. 7, 2026

Stanley J. Zydel ,90, of Eden, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Beloved and devoted husband for 63 years of Dorothy (nee Kaminski) Zydel; cherished father of Steven (Wendy) Zydel, Joseph (Tina) Zydel, Laura Lester, Daniel (Celeste) Zydel and Ryan Zydel; loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Alexandra (nee Tarnowski) Zydel, a son, Thomas Zydel , 3 brothers and a sister. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on April 11, 2026 at St. Mary’s Oratory, 8175 E. Eden Rd. East Eden, NY at 10 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY. Please share online condolences at www.demmerlyfuneralhome.com.
