Obituary of Curtis W. Taylor

Taylor- Curtis W. April 30, 1954 – Feb. 10, 2026 Curtis W. Taylor, 71, of Hamburg, New York passed away unexpectedly of a sudden cardiac event on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026. Beloved and devoted husband of Shannon (nee McGovern) Taylor; loving father of Brianne (Steven) Meyer and Major Liam (Lt. Col. Stephanie) Taylor; cherished grandfather of Elizabeth and Raymond Meyer, and Elise and Lily Taylor; dear brother of Margaret (late Robert) Kane, Susan Deane and Alice Taylor; uncle of Christopher Dean and Gabriel McGovern. Curtis graduated from Frontier High School “Class of 1972”, and matriculated to SUNY Alfred where he was a proud member of Theta Gamma Theta. He continued his education at the University of Buffalo earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Diversified Manufacturing in Lockport, NY after many years of service as a Manufacturing Engineer. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
