Marcia L. Bugaj

Jan. 24, 1942 – April 10, 2026

Marcia L. Bugaj, 84, of Hamburg, NY passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026. Beloved wife of the late

Ronald W. Bugaj; loving mother of Gregory M. (Kiersten) Bugaj and Rebecca A. (Eric) Majchrzak;

cherished grandmother of Samantha (Christopher) Osika, Lauren (Kevin Tierney) Bugaj, Traci Bugaj,

Natalie Majchrzak, Alexa Bugaj, Brendan Bugaj, R. Mitchell Majchrzak, Camryn Bugaj; two great-

grandchildren, Henry and Hudson Osika; a dear sister, Sylvia (William) Rudnicki; former daughter-in-law,

Lisa Druzbik (Ed); She was predeceased by her parents, William and Regina Krzyzanowski, a son, Allen

Bugaj and a sister, Eileen O’Neil. Marcia graduated from Mt. Mercy Academy “Class of 1959”, she

continued her education at Rosary Hill College earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Marcia taught

business at Cheektowaga High School and Hamburg High School, and worked as the office

manager/secretary at Ronald W Bugaj-Architects. She was a very active member of St. Bernadette

Church where she taught CCD classes, volunteered at funeral breakfasts, and belonged to the Altar

Rosary Society. Most of all Marcia’s world revolved around her grandchildren whom she loved and

adored so dearly. Relatives and friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce

Ave. Hamburg, NY on Sunday, April 19 th from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on

Monday April 20 th at St. Bernadette Church, 5930 S. Abbott Rd. Orchard Park, NY at 9 AM. Interment will

follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined, memorial contributions in Marcia’s honor may

be made online or via mail to the Altar and Rosary Society, St Bernadette Church, Orchard Park, NY.
