Michelle M. Hansgen,68, of Hamburg, NY passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026 with her family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Roy P. Hansgen; loving mother of Nicholas R. Hansgen and Roxanne R.(Marc)O’Mara; dear sister of Candace (late Donald) Enser and  Lynette (Tom) Kolb; also survived by many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Gloria (nee Sadd)Collett, two brothers, William and John Collett and a sister, Sandra (Mark) Keller. Michelle loved animals and volunteered on a regular basis at the Ten Lives Club in Blasdell, NY. She loved spending time with her family especially at the holidays and enjoyed going to the local casinos with her mother and sister. Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg on Thursday, May 21 from 3-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 22 at St Mary’s Oratory Church, 8175 E. Eden Rd. East Eden, NY at 11:30AM. Please assemble at the church. Flowers gratefully declined, memorials in Michelle’s memory may be made to an animal charity of your choice.
