Wolanin, Richard C. "Dick", age 85 of Hamburg, New York, August 1, 2021. Loving husband of the late Frances (nee Binko) Wolanin. Beloved father of Michael and Steven (Melissa) Wolanin and Lisa (Alan) DeSantis. Cherished grandfather of Kendall and Blake DeSantis, Reid and Erik Wolanin. Brother of the late Florence Lasecki, Leo Wolanin, Loretta Kazmierczak and Frances Kuziora. Son of the late Frank and Leonarda (nee Lentz) Wolanin. Family and friends called at the DONALD M. DEMMERLEY FUNERAL HOME, 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg on Friday, August 6 from 4-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 66 East Main Street on Saturday, August 7 at 10:30 AM. Please assemble at church. Entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Richard was a U.S. Army veteran and a life member of Sheridan VFW Post 6390. He was an avid reader and a diehard Buffalo Bills, Sabres and Cleveland Indians Fan.
