Schmidt, Wilfred G., age 83, of Hamburg, suddenly June 10, 2009. Husband of the late Beatrice (nee Floreno). Father of Paul (Linda) Schmidt, Susan (Andrew) Turley and the late Edward Schmidt. Longtime companion of Julia Guest. Brother of Marie (Ben) Enser. Also survived by two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Private services at the convenience of the family. No prior visitation. Mr. Schmidt was a life member of VFW Hamburg Township Post 1419.
