Obituary of Rita M. Seivert

Seivert, Rita M. (nee Baumgarten), age 99 of Orchard Park passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on April 19, 2021. Wife of the late Lawrence W. Seivert. Loving mother of Cynthia A. Sullivan, Lawrence W. Jr., Robert and Lisa Seivert. Grandmother of Krista and John (Tonya) Sullivan. Great-grandmother of Jack Sullivan. Sister of Dorothy (late James) Creighton. Predeceased by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church in Orchard Park at the convenience of the family. Burial in Nativity of Our Lord Cemetery. Rita was part of the Gardenville Baumgarten family and a 1940 graduate of St. Nicholas High School. She was a founding member of the Orchard Park Garden Club, a long time volunteer at The Botanical Gardens and a Master Gardener. Rita was community minded and active in her church.
