Obituary of Dorothy Hanson

Hanson, Dorothy (nee Salmon) of Hamburg, NY, July 3, 2013. Beloved wife of the late William; dearest mother of Robert (Alice), Elaine (John) Chase and Philip (Irene); loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister of Joyce Pusztay and the late Margaret Harrington and Vivian Miccuci. Dorothy received numerous awards from the NY Assembly and the County of Erie for her longtime commitment as a volunteer health insurance counselor in the Town of Hamburg, including WNY Citizen of the Year. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg, NY where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 AM.
