Slyder, James, age 81, of Hamburg, November 13, 2010. Husband of the late Catherine (nee Tonner). Father of Deborah (Mark) Archer and Sharon (Bruce) MacAllister. Brother of Alex (Linda) Slyder and Margaret (David) Dryburgh. Grandfather of James, Erin, William, Scott, Clare and Sara. Great-grandfather of Brendan, McKenna, Euan, Cameron and Meris. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at SS Peter & Paul Church, Tuesday at 10:00 AM. No prior visitation. Mr. Slyder was a British Army veteran and member of Hamburg Council #2220 K of C, VFW Hamburg Township Post #1419, Hamburg Lions Club and past member of Scranton Volunteer Fire Company.
