Obituary of Ruth E. Cwick

Cwick, Ruth E. (nee Walker) of Hamburg, March 25, 2012. Wife of the late Edward "Bill" Cwick. Mother of Craig (late Leilah Cummings) Cwick, Melinda (Timothy) Booth and Suzanna (Mark) Janker. Grandmother of Tomas Henry, Caitlin (Caleb) Severino, Shannon Booth, Eric (Angel) Booth, J. Michael (Nicole) Jeswald, Johannah Jeswald and the late Peter Janker. Sister of the late Donald (Sheila) Walker and the late Jack (Carolyn and the late Mary Anne) Walker. Sister-in-law of Norman (Mary) Cwick. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her rescue cat "Biggie" at her Florida home. Funeral from the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg Monday at 9:30 AM and Mass of Christian Burial from SS Peter & Paul Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Ruth was a past President and member of Hamburg Garden Club, member of SS Peter & Paul Altar & Rosary Society and choir. After graduating from Buffalo State College when her children were grown, she was a substitute teacher for various school districts in the Southtowns. Ruth was a passionate gardener and was known by many for her beautiful gardens where you could always find her. She was happiest digging in the dirt.
