Vara, Marjorie (nee Werrick), age 84, of Hamburg, May 9, 2011. Wife of the late Arthur Vara, Jr. Mother of Gary (Elizabeth) and Craig (Karen) Vara and Gay (Garry) Nelson. Sister of the late Mae Haley. Grandmother of Michelle (Andy) Carducci, Rebecca (Edward) Sheehan, Amanda, Samantha and William Vara, Shay (fiancee Bruna) and Brett Nelson. Great-grandmother of Samuel and Jacob Carducci. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at St. James United Church of Christ, Thursday at 10:00 AM. Visitation at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg, Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice Foundation. Mrs. Vara was a member of Sweet Adelines, Buffalo Gateway Chorus and Hamburg Women's Golf Club.
