Obituary of Neil E. Demerly

Demerly, Neil, E., age 84, suddenly, June 7, 2009. Beloved husband of Rita (nee Hagelin) Cooper Demerly and the late Betty (nee Horton) Demerly. Step-father of Daniel Cooper, Donna (John) Gordon and Michael (Christine) Cooper. Brother of the late Bryan Demerly. Cherished grandfather of Jacob, Jordan and Joseph Cooper. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at SS Peter & Paul Church Friday at 10:00 AM. No prior visitation. Memorials may be made to the Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Demerly was a Bethlehem Steel retiree, former Village of Hamburg Court Officer and member of Hamburg Council 2220 K of C, Msgr. Toomey Assembly 4th Degree, American Legion Post 527, VFW Hamburg Township Post 1419 and Hamburg Moose Lodge 992.
