Nowicki, Donald M., age 83 of Hamburg, New York, July 20, 2021. Husband of Nancy (nee Kasprzak) Nowicki. Father of Page (Lisa), Jared (Tricia) and Shad Nowicki. Grandfather of Taryn, Gunnar and Sienna Nowicki. Brother of Roseann (Michael) Tobolski, Donna (Daniel) Conley and Mary Jane Lawton. Son of the late Matthew and Rose (nee Wojslaw) Nowicki. Family and friends called at the DONALD M. DEMMERLEY FUNERAL HOME, 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg for a Celebration of Life on Friday, July 30 from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary (Oratory of St. John the Baptist RC Church), 8175 East Eden Road, East Eden on Saturday, July 31 at 11:00 AM. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, East Eden. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Don was an optician and the owner of Beckes Optical and Hearing Aid in Hamburg for 40+ years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Don loved to ski and was a member of PSIA for over 50 years. In his younger years he raised animals on the farm and was an avid fisherman; belonging to his family club, the WKT (Will Kill Them Tomorrow) Fishing Society.
