Maurer, Carol M., RN (nee Myott), age 80 of Hamburg, October 15, 2019. Mother of Elizabeth Hackford, Bruce and Eric (Kelly) Maurer. Grandmother of Lauren, Taylor, Ryan, Carly, Julia and Amelia. Family and friends called at the DONALD M. DEMMERLEY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg on Sunday, October 27 from 1-4 PM with a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM. A Celebration of Life was held at JP Fitzgerald's, 4236 Clark Street, Hamburg at 4:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to The Hospice Foundation of WNY, 225 Como Park Boulevard, P.O. Box 590, Buffalo, New York 14240 (www.hospicebuffalo.com). Mrs. Maurer was a dedicated labor and delivery nurse at Mercy Hospital for 35 years.
