McGowan, Anthony F. "Andy", age 97, of Ithaca, formerly of Lake View, November 9, 2012. Husband of the late Mary (nee Ebel). Father of Nancy (Daniel Griffin), Charles (Lori) and Robert (Pat) McGowan. Brother of the late May Foster, Jewell Heimerl and Alice McGowan. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by daughter-in-law, Leslie McGowan, and granddaughters, Heather and Amanda. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed John Paul II Parish, Lake View, Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Visitation at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg, Monday 5-8 PM only. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials to a local food pantry of your choice. Mr. McGowan was a member of Hamburg Council #2220 K of C.
