Obituary of Martha C. Cary

Cary, Martha C., age 88, of Boston, NY April 19, 2020. Wife of the late Edward Cary. Beloved mother of Jon (Paula) Cary, Elisabeth (Timothy) Phelps, Richard (Pamela) and Van (Sandy) Cary. Grandmother of Carolyn (Logan) Goodwin, Melissa and Annie Cary, Rebecca (Daniel) Embt, Joshua Phelps, Benjamin, Miranda, Hannah, Isabel and Samuel Cary, Patrick and Sarah Cary. Sister-in-law of Elizabeth Carlstrom, Mary Ann Stevenson and Cynthia (Carl) Glickman. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Carl and Ruth (Wheeland) Carlstrom and brothers Carl and David Carlstrom. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Boston. Martha graduated from Springville-Griffith Institute and attended Vassar College. She was actively involved in various church and charitable organizations, Girl Scouts of WNY and the Vassar Club.
