Obituary of Joseph S. Genco

Genco, Joseph S., age 87, of Hamburg, March 21, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Colmerauer). Loving father of Barbara, Diane (Eugene Schaefer), Chuck (Marsha Rosoff), Joanne (Arnold Zdrojewski), Patricia (Daniel Schinzel), Thomas (Gale) and Mary (Jeffrey Oldham). Beloved brother of the late Bertha Zdanowski and Lucy Gorski. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at SS Peter & Paul Church Friday at 10:00 AM. Visitation at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg, Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospital Hospice or DAV. Mr Genco was a member of Hamburg Council #2220 KofC, 82nd Airborne Assn., American Legion Post #527 and VFW Hamburg Township Post #1419.
