Skrzypek, Theophil W. "Phil", age 72, of Silver Creek, formerly of Hamburg, April 13, 2016. Beloved and devoted husband of 24 years to Gayle (nee Bernhardt) and the late Jane (nee Dominy). Father of Catherine, Christopher (Jennifer), Ellen and Brian Skrzypek. Stepfather of Charles (Nancy) Keib, Barbara (Richard) Nelson and Karen (Jon, Jr.) Hall. Brother of Dorothy (late Norbert) Doherty, Betty (late Daniel) Irvine and twin Frank (Marge) Skrzypek. Grandfather of Alex, Ben, Chris, Zack, Kailyn, Kevyn, Josh, Morgan and Colton. A Service of Christian Burial was held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 11 Day Street, Fredonia on Tuesday, April 19 at 11:00 AM. Burial in White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst. Visitation took place at the DONALD M. DEMMERLEY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 21 Pierce Avenue, Hamburg on Sunday, April 17 from 7-9 PM and Monday, April 18 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church in Fredonia or Orphans Promise.org. Mr. Skrzypek was a Hamburg Letter Carrier for 32 years, worked in Transportation at Chautauqua Institution and was a life member of Scranton Volunteer Fire Company.
