My mother and I have many fond memories of watching football games with Coach and his wife Jan at the Fairview Inn during the great Bills years in the early 90s. Dan was always a positive guy with words of wisdom. In recent years, my Mom would bump into Dan occasionally out and about grocery shopping and loved to catch up with him. We had many common fiends, like the Ruh brothers, who hung out with Dan at the Knights on occasion. He was loved by all. Our prayers are with his family. He will be missed by many.
