Age 79, of Hamburg, NY, passed away on December 17, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Beloved daughter of the late Albert Julius and Helen (nee Hastings) Bowers; loving sister of the late Albert John (Roberta) Bowers; dear aunt of Julie (Jeff) Glawatz and Brian Bowers; great- aunt of Jack Glawatz and Logan Bowers; close friends of Paul (Christine) McGrath. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 22, 2022 at SS Peter & Paul Church, 66 E. Main St. Hamburg at 10 AM. Interment will be in St Peter & Paul Cemetery. Virginia and her brother were the owners of E. Main St. Liquors in Hamburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg.
