Obituary of Edward Sojda

Sojda – Edward G.

Age 73 of Hamburg, NY passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023 at his home. Beloved husband of
Michele (nee Bogner) Sojda; dear father of Joshua T. (Suzanne), Scott M. (Nicole), Courtney M. Sojda;
cherished grandfather of five grandchildren: Jack, Lillian, Abigail, Oliver, and Emma Sojda; and loving
brother to Ronald, Michael and Kevin (Toni Lynn) Sojda. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and
Bernice(nee Darmstedter) Sojda. Edward was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He worked for Buffalo
Forge and HVAC Equipment as a sales engineer. He was active in his community coaching
Hamburg hockey and Hamburg Junior baseball and softball teams while his kids were growing up. 
Per the request of the family, arrangements were private.
