Age 79  of Irving, NY, March 16, 2023. Beloved husband of 49 years of the late Patricia  (Hughes) Gier; loving father of Daniel, Brian and Gregory (Andrea) Gier; cherished grandfather of Melissa, Chandler, Lyncoln and Kierra Gier; dear brother of Mary Jane and Gary (Kathy) , Rosemary (Richard) Ellis, Rita( late Jerry) Penn, Joseph (Nancy) and Thomas (Jennifer) Gier; brother-in-law  of Buster  Ranic; also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard J. and Mary (Weber) Gier and two sisters Judy Cheman and Nancy Ranic. Friends and relatives may call on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 9- 12 PM at the Donald M.
