Age 65, of Hamburg, NY passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening , April 10, 2023.Beloved son of the late Frederick and Rita (nee Hagelin) Cooper and his late step-father, Neil Demerly; dear brother of Donna (John) Gordon and Michael (Laurie Dils)Cooper; cherished uncle of Jacob (Katie), Jordan (Dr. Shayla) and Joseph Cooper; three great-nieces, Annabelle, Addysen and Malia Cooper. Dan was a graduate of Hamburg High School Class of 1975. He continued his education at ECC and the University of Buffalo earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in accounting. He managed the Knights of Columbus in Hamburg for many years. His memberships included the SS Peter & Paul Church, Hamburg Moose, the Sons of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus where he was a former Grand Knight and a 4^th Degree Knight.  Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 4-7 PM, where a Memorial Service will immediately follow.
