Age 76 of Orchard Park, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Beloved wife of 45 years to Norman A. Jans; loving mother of Michael N. (Rachel Blachowicz) and Bryan A. (Kelly) Jans; cherished grandmother of Tyler Jans; sister-in-law of Herman Jans. Predeceased by her parents, John and Florence (nee Rouse) Matheson and her step-mother, Edna (nee Rouse) Matheson. Pat was a graduate of Hamburg High school Class of 1964. She continued her education at Rosary Hill College, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and also received a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Canisius College. Pat taught math at Eden Jr. and Sr. High School retiring in 2002. She enjoyed traveling and wintering in Fla. and loved going to Disney World with her family. Friends may call at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave. Hamburg, NY on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at St. Bernadette Church, 5930 Abbott Rd. Orchard Park, NY at 9 AM. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial s in Pat’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
