Fidel, Patricia A.

May 31, 1937 to September 29, 2023

Age 86, of Hamburg, New York entered eternal rest on Friday September 29, 2023 with her family by her side. 

Beloved wife of 63 years to George E. Fidel; loving mother of late Gayle, Mark (Marci), Michael, Elizabeth (Martin) Allen, Jean McDonald, Mary (David) McDonald.  Cherished Nana to Kelsey, Patrick, Abigail, and Colin.  Dear sister to late John (Joann) Bancroft, late Marlin (late Toni) Bancroft.  Family and friends may visit Thursday, October 12 from 4-7pm at Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg, NY 14075.  Burial Friday October 13 at 1:00pm, SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1 Veit Rd., Hamburg. 

Pat was a 1955 graduate of Mercer High School in Mercer, PA.  She went on to earn a degree from St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.  Pat was a long time volunteer for the WNY Christian Women's Group.  She loved gardening and shared her beautiful gardens by participating for many years in the Hamburg Garden Walk.  She and her husband, George, raised 6 children in their Hamburg home where they have lived for 55 years.  When her family was young, Pat, George, and their 6 children spent summers traveling across the United States in their red Volkswagen bus, camping in a tent. Pat's favorite activity was to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.   

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
