CORNWALL – Eleanor “Ellie” (nee Fahr)

Sept. 13, 1927 - Sept. 28, 2023

Eleanor Florence Cornwall, age 96, of Cheektowaga NY, formerly Boston, NY, passed peacefully on September 28th. She was married for 63 years to Ronald D. who preceded her in death in 2010. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Florence (nee Meinke) Fahr. Survived by son Larry (Narda) Cornwall, daughter Sharon (Frank III) Forney, Robert (Laura) Cornwall, brother William Fahr (Penny) and sister-in-law Barbara Pierce (late Jim). Also survived by nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Jack Cornwall, sister Melva (late Al) and sister Marjorie (Jim). She was a homemaker all her life and loved her family and friend gatherings and was known for her great pies and quick wit. Interment services will be held privately by the family at Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery in Hamburg. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Faith United Church of Christ, 8651 Boston State Rd., Boston, NY, at 11AM on October 28th. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Cornwall’s name to Faith United Church of Christ. Arrangements were made through the Donald M.
