Angela was such a beautiful person all around. Our lives crossed paths first in college and we both had a love of the band pearl jam. We spent a lot of time listening and exchanging pearl jam songs particularly bootlegs which was the thing to do back then. Those days are heavily missed. Another artist we loved listening to was Chris Cornell there is a particular song "say hello to heaven" off of the temple of the dog compilation album. So say hello to heaven for me old friend until we meet again.

Our friend Ned once called Angie “an institute” in San Francisco. We were at Dolores Park celebrating her 40th birthday, and I can’t think of a better way to describe how much she meant to so many. Angie had multiple friend groups in SF who she loved dearly, and to whom she spoke of her Buffalo friends and family regularly. I once counted (and marveled at) her 7 different large groups of friends, which is a lot given how mobile San Franciscans can be.
Angie without fail was always there for the big moments, as well as knowing when to be there for the small moments that seemingly no one else notices. I’ve never had a friend accept me so fully for who I am while so gently and lovingly calling me out and laughing at ourselves together. I will terribly miss our big adventures traveling abroad, and even more so the small and simple ones that made SF home to us both - wine nights in, foodie group dinners at the new hotspot in town, group camping trips, competing for steps on FitBit, meeting between our offices for sunset runs at the Embarcadero, daylong cooking ventures, going to Fisherman’s Wharf to play tourists, and skipping the museum to go to Dolores Park during a rare and sunny day in SF. Angie and I moved out of SF together, and she helped me move into my new city during the pandemic.
I think Angie would want her SF friends to know she loved each and every single one of you dearly and talked about you for years after leaving SF. I want her Buffalo friends and family to know that we loved our girl and took good care of her while she was away from home, and I’m so glad she was right where she belonged with her friends and family in Buffalo. I will love and miss her forever.

I will always remember Angie as a really great friend. I was fortunate to meet her shortly after we both moved to SF in 2015. I have a lot of fun memories with Angie running around and exploring SF. We'd go to the movies, we'd go to parties etc. Whenever she would get Giant's game tickets from work she would invite me to watch the game with her and we'd sit in our seats and eat lots of yummy ballpark food.
When my mom passed away Angie was really there for me. After returning home to bury my mom I returned to SF and Angie surprised me by being at the airport after I got off my flight. I'll never forget seeing her smiling face waiting for me. Angie also took the time to hangout with me and listen to me during this time. Angie was an amazing friend to me at a time in my life when I needed it the most. I couldn't have done it without you Angie. I feel fortunate to have the time we had together in SF and I will cherish the memories deeply. Thank you for helping show me what true friendship is Angie. You always had the brightest, sweetest most gracious energy and I promise to help carry your legacy. I will miss you and I love you always. Until we meet again my friend.

We met Angie in 2016 in San Francisco, during what most of us recall as the “most life-changing years”. Most of us had just moved to the city and were excited to make new friends.
We quickly found our little group of people and Angie was an integral part of it with her bubbly personality. There are so many memories of spending a beautiful San Francisco afternoon at a park, at Coachella, London and Tomorrowland. You could always count on Angie to bring her exuberant self and bring smiles to people’s faces. Her determination was inspiring. She was willing to take charge for her group of friends - she and her energy, caring spirit, loyalty, and dedication will be deeply missed by all of us.

When you have countless wonderful memories of a person, it’s hard to diffuse that down to a singular summary. For me, Angie was a staple in my life for so many years, and a true best friend. We had the fortune of epic adventures and seeing each other through some challenging experiences, that no one should have to endure. When I think of Angie, I’m flooded with joy in how she was full of life, caring, adventurous and brave.
Memories that quickly bubble to the surface include our high school shenanigans, Young Life (you’ll find there’s a picture of her ecstatic, with a boy to the left who has pink hair – and so I had to take the photo as she had the cutest crush on him), camping at Wine Fest and taking a week long self-guided tour of Ireland together in 2011. For our Ireland trip, we were fortunate to come home with a fun pair of pink shoes. For both of us, these were a continuous reminder of our travels with also offering a smile, as they were whimsical in design.
Angie was an amazing person and I will always be in awe of her bravery in taking a leap of faith in moving to San Francisco. I will forever be a better person for having her in my life.

Before my retirement a year ago, Angie and I worked closely on trademark matters. This was a new field for her, but she caught on fast. She was a joy to work with -- always cheerful and eager to learn. Her passing is a great loss, not only for her family and friends, but also for those of us who had the good fortune of being her colleague.
