Wise - William R. “Bill”

William R. Wise, 57, of Hamburg, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, with his family at his side. Beloved and devoted husband for 34 years of Shannon (nee Greene) Wise; loving father of Matthew (Heather) Jackson and Kelsey Wise; cherished grandfather of Cecilia “Ceci” and Josephine “Jo” Jackson; adored son of Marjorie and the late Wallace Wise; dear brother of Wanda (Paul) Bukowski, Wayne (Linda), Walt (Lynn) and Wendy (Hal) Wise; best friend and Joker buddy to Dave & Kelly Lauria; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill graduated from Hamburg High School in 1985 and continued his education at ECC earning a Business Administration AAS Degree. He started working at a young age and never stopped. He worked for many years at Dunn Tire, then he moved on to become an Outside Sales Rep. for Myers Tire Supply Co. for 23 ½ years, he was a very hard-working, determined and dedicated man. Family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, from 4-7 PM at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg, NY, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment will be private in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in Bill’s memory to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, www.RoswellPark.org.
