Ronnie and I first met when he was 17 and I had recently started working at the PD. As sometimes typical of teenage males, he had just pranked a local business establishment and I answered the call from the irate owner. We managed to straighten out the issue without further consequences and Ronnie and I became good friends. But as life sometimes happens, we eventually followed different paths and lost touch. Around the time Ron was building his blacktop business, my Dad was Highway Superintendent and would request Ron's help with larger road projects when the need arose for extra equipment. Dad respected Ron's knowledge and work ethic and it was not easy to gain Dad's respect. But Ronnie did.
Rest easy, my old friend. Maybe one day we'll ride those bikes again on the streets of gold.

I worked for Ron as a young man at Custom Coat Blacktop back in the late 80's. He was a great boss and a hard worker who took pride in the jobs we did. I learned a lot from him. I'm sorry to learn of his passing and send my condolences to his family.

My mother was good friends with Carol while we were growing up. My sister, Linda, and I would hang out with the three boys while my mother and Carol had coffee. Sometimes Carol would babysit us. Since my sister and I never had any brothers, I think we were often surprised at all the mischief three boys could get into!! We seemed to enjoy every minute of it! Lol! Condolences from the St-Pierre family.

I met Ron while working at Gernatt Asphalt Company.
When I started servicing Custom Coat Blacktop , Ron and I quickly became friends. Ron helped me pave my driveway when I moved to Evans.
We started hunting together. The first time Ron invited me to go archery hunting , he put me in his favorite stand and I bagged a nice buck on his family’s property in East Otto.
When Ron got out of the paving business and owned Fisher Pools he hired my daughter to work at his store.
Ron and I had a lot of fun times together in Las Vegas at the Con Expo and the Daytona 500 NASCAR race.
He will truly be missed.
Rest in peace my friend.
